The ones who care beyond compare.

Spanning multiple cultures, generations, educational backgrounds and areas of medical expertise, our multilingual team delivers care that’s as human as care gets.

Rebecca Butler

Administrator

Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology from Weber State University and a Master of Science from the University of Utah. Becoming a nursing home administrator is the realization of her childhood dream. “We are like a family at Ontario Center,” she says. “We are always concerned with the welfare of our residents and work together to achieve the best outcomes for each of them.

Kristy Solis

Acting Director of Nursing

Kristy attended Cayuga Community College and Finger Lakes Community College, where she earned her ASN/RN degree. She has always had a passion for helping others—especially those who are most vulnerable. “I visit each unit daily,” she says. “I check in with both staff and residents. I enjoy spending time with them all, making sure the team and the residents have everything they need.”

Lindsay Huson OTR/L

Director of Therapy

“Let’s do this”. That ‘s Lindsay’s motto. And that’s her philosophy when it comes to running a therapy department. Whether it’s making sure her staff has the equipment they need, or encouraging a resident to tackle another day of physical therapy, her can do attitude and team approach keeps everyone positive. And when Lindsay says “Let’s do this” to a resident, she means US. She’s a hands-on therapist who gets her greatest sense of fulfillment from working one-on-one with her residents, helping them make the little strides and the big ones, and keeping them focused on the goal. “I love being a therapist. It’s the greatest joy to see someone come here unable to get around on their own, and after a few weeks or a few months, seeing them walking down the hall and knowing you helped them get there. It’s my dream job and I’m living it every day right here at Ontario Center”.

Lindsay’s entire team here is dedicated to helping each and every patient they encounter achieve the highest possible level of function and independences. And they don’t take “No” for an answer.

Katrina Herman

Director of Social Work

Katrina has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. From her initial interviews with patients and residents through their entire stay, she is focused on their specific interests and needs. “I enjoy getting to know residents as well as their family members,” she says. “I particularly favor the moments when I am just visiting and talking with them.”

Knowledge is health.

For the absolute highest quality of care, Ontario Center staffs medical providers on each unit who stay in constant communication with leadership throughout the day. Team collaboration is our forte, and this commitment helps us maintain an unbeatable continuum of care.

Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.
